TERMS & CONDITIONS

COURSES & PROGRAMS

Registration and Deposit

Upon acceptance into the course, a non-refundable deposit, as specified for each course, is due within three working days to secure your spot. This deposit counts toward your overall investment.

Balance Payment

The full payment for the course must be completed as per the agreement with the organization. If you have arranged a payment plan, payments will be due according to that schedule. Failure to pay in full on time will result in cancellation of your spot, which may then be offered to someone on the waiting list, and your deposit will be forfeited.

If you cancel your participation in the course or program, you remain responsible for completing the full payment on time.

For late registrations, payment in full is required immediately to reserve your spot, in accordance with your agreed payment plan.

*We also offer a payment plan in installments, which can be arranged with the organization.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Withdrawal 60+ Days Before Start Date: 50% of the investment will be refunded, minus the deposit.
  • Withdrawal 30+ Days Before Start Date: 25% of the investment will be refunded, minus the deposit.
  • Withdrawal Less Than 30 Days Before Start Date: No refund is available; however, you may defer to another course date or transfer your spot to another individual (subject to Unity Space’s approval). This must be done within 1.5 years from the original course commencement date.

If you decide to withdraw after beginning the course, the full payment is still required.

For any specific arrangements made in writing between Unity Space and participants, those will be honored.

Any unresolved disputes will be addressed according to the laws of the country where the course took place. For serious matters outside the country’s jurisdiction, Hong Kong law will apply.

Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure occurrence, such as war, natural disasters, pandemics, or other calamities that jeopardise the execution of an event, course, or program, the organisation reserves the right to postpone the activity.

If such a situation arises:

  • Participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative dates for the course or program.
  • The organization is not liable for any travel expenses or other costs incurred by participants as a result of these changes.

FOR ALL EVENTS

Payment Methods

Deposits and payments can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, TransferWise, or StickyTickets.

Important:

  • If you choose PayPal, an additional handling fee of 3% or 4% may apply, depending on your country’s currency.
  • The organization will not cover extra charges incurred from bank transfers, exchange fees, or any other fees associated with your payment method.

After submitting your payment, please email your receipt to: [email protected].

Event Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a course is canceled, we will arrange another opportunity for you to participate and will request your availability. If you’re unable to attend, all payments, including your deposit, will be refunded.

Travel expenses, including flights, transportation, and accommodation, are the individual’s responsibility and will not be reimbursed.

Delayed Flights and Travel

In case of delays affecting attendance due to travel issues, such as flight cancellations, the organizer will not cover any costs associated with lost time. Participants must notify the organization of any late arrivals.

Declined Entry to the Country

If a participant is unable to enter the country due to immigration issues (e.g., expired visas or missing documents), the organizer will not refund any costs incurred prior to that date. The organizer is also not financially responsible if the participant must return home due to entry problems.

Injuries and Illness

Should you experience any injuries or illness, the organizer will provide basic first aid supplies and guidance for seeking further medical assistance. Participants are responsible for bringing personal medications and must seek professional healthcare when necessary. Any health-related treatment costs (e.g., doctor visits, hospital fees, physiotherapy, medications) will be borne by the participant or their personal insurance.

Liability Waiver

The organizer is not liable for any injury, death, accident, illness, delay, loss of personal belongings, theft, or damage caused by participants. Participants should safeguard their belongings and respect the well-being of themselves and others. Anyone with health concerns should consult their physician before participating.

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance that covers health, loss, and damages to personal belongings, as the organizer will not be responsible for ensuring participants have insurance coverage.

Video and Photography Talent Release
